Hey! 

My name is Maya Lee (she/her). I was born in Worcester MA, raised in Gorham ME. I am a proud graduate of Columbia College Chicago, where I earned my BFA in Musical Theatre Performance. I recently completed the Professional Semester at Broadway Dance Center, further expanding my artistry and training in New York City.

When I was three years old, my grandmother took me to see my first musical, Beauty and the Beast. That experience changed my life. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to be part of a world filled with music, magic, and meaning.

Outside of performing, you can find me spending quality time with family and friends, cooking (because food is absolutely the way to my heart), writing, watching Drag Race while cuddling my dog, attempting to keep my Duolingo streak, and exploring other creative mediums.

As of late, I have been super passionate about bringing back social dance into community spaces-- letting outward displays of joy override the fear of public perception. Right now I am a street style ambassador at New York City Center and a lot of the work I have been doing through this program has inspired this mission.
